What type of payments do you accept?
Please write several sentences explaining what types of payment you'll accept. For example, "We gladly accept checks, money orders, and major credit cards for mail
order transactions. Fax, phone, and online orders are limited to major credit cards. Sorry, we cannot accept C.O.D. orders."
Please explain any limits you place on shipping.
For example, "We ship anywhere in the continental United States," or, "Sorry, we serve only the Pacific Northwest, including Washington, Oregon, and
Idaho." Write this as you'd like it to appear on your Web site.
A customer guarantee is a statement that explains your customers' rights when they purchase from your
online business. Please be careful with the wording of this guarantee and promise only services that you can deliver. If you have a company brochure or written guarantee
that you use elsewhere, you might want to use it here. (If you reuse an existing guarantee be sure to edit it to include details about what you do and don't guarantee to
your online customers.). Please write your customer guarantee here.
Write your return policy
Below we've written a draft return policy. You may use this basic policy as an example, or create an original policy to suit your business needs.
You may return an item for refund or replacement within 30 days
of the shipment date. Shipping and handling charges are
non-refundable. All returns must be accompanied by the packing slip.
When you return an item, follow the instructions on the packing slip,
and most importantly, please indicate the reason for the return.
You may want to insure your return; we cannot be responsible for
lost or misdirected returns. If you paid for your order by credit card,
a credit will be issued and will appear on your billing statement.
Your packing slip will indicate where you need to send your return.
